About Love The Plant

Love The Plant is an education and research library focused on cannabis strain names, families, terpenes, and cannabinoids. We map how popular names relate to each other, which lineages they sit in, and which aromatic and chemical markers people commonly discuss when they talk about a cultivar. The library is built for readers who want orientation before they compare labels, breeding claims, or lab-style profile language.

This site is not a clinic. We do not sell products, book appointments, or issue medical cards. Nothing here is medical advice, a treatment recommendation, or a substitute for talking with a qualified clinician. Use the pages to learn the language of genetics and chemistry so you can read lineage stories and compound lists with more context and fewer assumptions.

Start with Families to see how related cultivars cluster into recognizable lines. Genetics explains parentage, landrace roots, and how breeders describe crosses. Cannabinoids covers the major compounds people look up when they compare profiles. If you have a question about the library itself, use Contact.

Our goal is clear, sourced orientation—not hype and not commerce. Browse the sections above, follow the links between names and families, and treat every page as research context rather than a prescription or a product pitch.
