CBGA

CBGA is cannabigerolic acid. In the plant it is the acid form that enzymes later convert toward THCA, CBDA, and CBCA. Indexes also print cannabigerolic acid. CBG is the decarboxylated name, the one that remains after the acid loses its carboxyl group. Fresh flower is more likely to show the acid. A heated or aged sample is more likely to show CBG. The CBG page covers that neutral name. A label that says CBGA is this acid.
