Fenchone

Fenchone is a camphor-like monoterpene ketone. The smell is cool, sharp, and woody, close to the camphor chest note and to fenchol, the alcohol with almost the same name. Fennel oil and cedar are the outside-flower references.

Fenchol and fenchone travel together in naming. Fenchol is the alcohol. Fenchone is the ketone. A sheet that prints both is listing two molecules, not one spelling twice. The fenchol page covers the alcohol that already shows up in search.

On a cannabis panel fenchone is a minor cool-wood line when it appears.
