Delta-3-Carene

Delta-3-carene is a piney, sweet monoterpene. People also search carene, 3-carene, and delta-3-carene. The smell talk is often dry pine, fir, or a slightly sweet wood, not lemon zest and not fuel.

It shows up in turpentine-style pine oil talk and in some rosemary and bell-pepper notes in broader plant lists. That is a way to place the smell. It is not a recipe for the plant in the jar.

On cannabis panels delta-3-carene is usually a minor or mid line, not the headline the way myrcene or limonene can be. A pine name on a bag does not prove this isomer is present. Labs may print carene, 3-carene, or delta-3-carene. Treat those as the same neighborhood unless the sheet splits them.

Compare it with pinene and terpinolene when the nose reads pine-wood rather than straight lemon. Two jars can both list a carene line and still be different plants. Amounts change by cut and method.

This page is the name and the smell. It is not a body-effect essay.
