# Haze
Haze is a foundational sativa-leaning line associated with 1960s1970s California breeding that combined tropical and equatorial material. The original Haze brothers' work is usually told as a multi-landrace project rather than a two-parent hybrid with a barcode. Parents are therefore partly Unknown even when teaching models name regions. That honesty is part of good lineage education: Haze is a historical category with famous descendants, not a QR-coded pedigree for every jar labeled Haze.
