Cookies is the teaching name that spread from California clone circles in the early 2010s around Girl Scout Cookies / GSC. The usual parent story is OG Kush × Durban Poison. Packs disagree. When a cut cannot show that work, parents stay Unknown.

A simple reading line: OG Kush × Durban Poison → GSC → Thin Mint GSC → later dessert names such as Gelato, Gelato 33, Wedding Cake, Animal Cookies, Runtz, White Runtz, and Apple Fritter.

Cookies moved catalog language from fuel-pine OG talk into bakery and candy names. It did not replace the OG Kush or Durban families. A dessert jar is not automatically GSC. Keep conflict notes when two breeders reuse the same word.
